ITI lecture – CBCT artefacts: what can we trust? – 6 March, 2018
Dr Veronique Sauret-Jackson has been invited by the Central London Study Club to deliver this lecture on Tuesday 6 March. It is tailored to the ITI members.
At the end of the lecture, delegates should:
- be able to describe and recognise common CBCT artifacts
- understand how key differences between scanners and scanning protocols affect image quality
- understand the strategy of optimising radiation dose patient for the maximal diagnostic benefits
- understand how to manipulate CBCT images and use the images as part of the workflow for implant treatment planning: practical ideas on how to deal with artefacts.
