Covid-19 Update For Patients

Dear Patient,

Infection control is and always has been a fundamental principle of our imaging centres. Be assured of our continued commitment to your health and wellbeing.

Cavendish Imaging continues to maintain the highest possible standards of hygiene and patient safety: excellent hand hygiene, cleaning of surfaces and equipment at the beginning and at the end of the day, but also after every patient. The use of personal protective equipment is also something that we do all day, every day, for every patient. This is not something new for us, it is just part of our everyday practice, and always has been.

Our normal good practices are the very best line of defence against COVID-19, and we also of course follow guidance from the public health authorities and the Royal Colleges.

Of course, with recent developments, we have insisted upon hand washing or sanitation for all patients entering our buildings. We are also taking the precaution to email you this letter in advance of your appointment as a reminder to look after yourself and cancel your appointment should you have any travel history or display any symptoms associated with COVID-19.

We would also like to emphasise that, while you are with us, we will never feel offended if you ask us to clean the equipment one more time in front of you. It is very important to us that you are and feel looked after.

We continue to monitor the situation daily as it evolves and will update our approach accordingly.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your trust in our care.

Sincerely,

Veronique Sauret-Jackson                                        Daria Cupurdija
