We hope to meet you at the Alpha Omega lecture tonight: Dental Radiology: Recent Developments and Core Knowledge.
Exciting developments in radiology and radiography have taken place in the last 10 years, affecting the practice of dental radiology, and providing dentists with an evolving and increasingly valuable diagnostic tool. Core elements, however, remain and most techniques continue to involve the use of ionizing radiation.
This lecture will review some of the recent changes in imaging of the dental and maxillofacial region, and also examine current concepts of radiation safety.
