The 3D Printshow once again reached London bringing featured shows, guest speakers and world class exhibitions to the Old Billingsgate over the course of three days. It showcased a wonderful combination of medical development and innovation alongside the design industry’s artistic brilliance.

Cavendish Imaging, along with our sister company Digits2Widgets, was able to join in the tribute to this technology, exhibiting some of our work as anatomical model specialists and as the developers of customised sports masks.

Our clinical director, Dr Andrew Dawood, was invited to speak and his talk on ‘Transformative Technologies, Transforming Lives’ emphasised how 3D printing can be used as a creative tool in forming practical solutions within the medical industry. Dr Dawood was able to draw on his experience alongside the charity Saving Faces and described how 3D printing has managed to strengthen surgical potential.
